What is the difference (stylistic) between "Best regards" and "Kind regards"?

Can somebody explain it?

Kind regards немного менее официально. Но в принципе нет разницы.

первое более официальное - с наилучшими пожеланиями, очень распространено в коммерческой корреспонденции. второе же лучше всего перевести как "с сердечным приветом" - больше подходит для неофициальной, личной переписки

In case there was a point in putting your question in English, not in Russian, please, have a translation of my comment:

The first one is more formal, it is widely used in commercial correspondence. the other one is more suitable for informal and private letters.
